Mates4Mates regularly embarks on various sailing challenges to stretch participants physically and psychologically.
Jubilee Sailing Trust
In December 2016, Mates4Mates embarked on an initial voyage on-board Tenacious, with Jubilee Sailing Trust. It was a great success, with Mates sharing their stories on how much of a benefit the trip was on helping to rebuild confidence and self-esteem. In 2017, we will again be embarking on a voyage with Jubilee Sailing Trust to offer this unique experience to Mates on their journey to recovery. The voyage will run between 30 October and 5 November out of Brisbane and end in the spectacular surroundings of Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Compulsory Safety Training
All participants who are involved in the Mates4Mates Rehabilitation Sailing Program are required to pass a Safety & Sea Survival Course (SSSC). This training will be conducted by specialist instructors at Yachting Australia Accredited Centres across Australia. Participants may apply for recognition of prior learning should they hold a current SSSC Certificate.
