One-Day Wellness Program: Stafford
Veterans and family members are invited to join us in Stafford for a day of wellness and mindfulness.
Are you a female veteran or family member who is looking to improve your mental health and wellbeing? Join us for our next female One-Day Wellness Program in Ipswich.
Our One-Day Wellness Programs have been developed to assist participants in managing and improving their mental and physical health through an integrative and holistic approach.
Join us for a day of mindfulness, movement, and self-care designed to support your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. The program includes a psychoeducation workshop exploring practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety and depression, followed by a guided Somatic Dance session featuring gentle movement, self-reflection, and opportunities to reconnect with yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
Female veterans and family members who are interested in attending this One-Day Wellness Program will need to undertake an expression of interest (EOI) process. This EOI includes a clinical screening to ensure this program is suitable for you.
Please note there is a minimum number of participants required for facilitation of this program. The program may be cancelled if the minimum number is not met.
Upcoming event
The next One-Day Wellness event will run on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the RSL Queensland Veteran & Family Wellbeing Centre Ipswich Level 1, 260 Brisbane Street, West Ipswich, Qld 4305.
Submit an expression of interest now
Expressions of interest will close Friday, 18 September 2026 however, expressions of interest may close sooner if a large volume of applications are received. It is therefore recommended that expressions of interest are submitted as soon as possible.
Places in the program are dependent on meeting the selection criteria. Please note submitting an expression of interest does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process for this program.
Places in the program are available to female veterans and family members who have completed the Mates4Mates new client form. If you have not submitted this form and would like to take part, simply fill out the new client form online and our team will be in touch soon.
