Our counsellors are here to support you.
Counsellors use talk-based therapy to help veterans and family members to develop self-awareness and insight, make positive changes in their lives and generally assist people with life issues including relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety and stress.
This may include developing strategies to improve mindfulness and relaxation or learning skills that support improved relationships, such as assertive communication.
Our staff are here to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to talk about what you’re going through and help you find a way forward.
You can book an appointment with a Mates4Mates counsellor in Stafford, Ipswich or Townsville. Telehealth appointments are also available.
