Mates4Mates Foundations of Movement Program

  • Are you a veteran looking to change your relationship with exercise and movement?
  • Want to find out how movement can benefit your transition to civilian life and help rehabilitate injuries?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Foundations of Movement Program might be for you!

What is the Foundations of Movement Program?

The newly developed Foundations of Movement program aims to support veterans to rethink their approach to exercise, shifting away from a military mindset to a healthier, sustainable approach that supports long-term health and wellbeing.

Facilitated by Mates4Mates exercise physiologists, the workshop will provide education and discussion to identify differences between military and civilian exercise, and understand how exercise can assist your identity transition to civilian life and how it is used to rehabilitate injuries.

Please note, there is a minimum number of participants required for facilitation of this program. The program may be cancelled if the minimum number is not met.
