The National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) Patron’s Walk for Charity is an annual event and is pleased to be up and running once again in 2021.
In 2019, this event raised over $255,000 for the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) at The University of Queensland and Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF). We're excited to be the new third beneficiary of this event. This year the NFIA Patron's Walk for Charity, led by Aururo Adventures will see 25 trekkers tackle one of Australia’s most iconic hikes, the spectacular Bay of Fires and Freycinet National Park on Tasmania’s East Coast from 3 – 7 November, 2021.
All donations that are made to the NFIA Patron's Walk for Charity or to an individual trekker will be split equally between Mates4Mates, Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) at University Queensland and Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF).
