Mates4Mates Explaining the Brain Program

Are you a veteran or a family member who wants to better understand how the brain is impacted by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)?

Then the Explaining the Brain Program may be for you.

What is the Explaining the Brain Program?

The Explaining the Brain Program is designed by our psychologists to help veterans and family members better understand the biological mechanisms of PTSD.

The group program will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about how PTSD develops and is treated, as well as gaining a greater understanding of its symptoms and impacts for veterans and their families, in a safe environment.

Upcoming Programs

Online

Our next group program will run online on Thursday, 17 October 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm AEST.

Veterans and family members who are interested in participating in the Online Explaining the Brain Program will need to undertake an expression of interest (EOI) process. This EOI includes a clinical screening to ensure this program is suitable for you.

Expressions of interest for this program have now closed. If you are interested in upcoming programs, please don't hesitate to contact programs@mates4mates.org

Places in the program are available to veterans and family members registered with Mates4Mates. If you are not a Mates4Mates member and would like to take part, simply complete the Mates4Mates new client form online and our team will be in touch soon.
