Mates4Mates Falls Prevention Workshop

  • Are you a veteran or a family member who wants to build strength?
  • Are you looking to maintain balance to reduce the likelihood of falls?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Falls Prevention Workshop might be for you!

What is the Falls Prevention Workshop?

The Falls Prevention Workshop has been designed by our exercise physiologists and physiotherapists to help veterans and their families learn about falls prevention and how to exercise safely and confidently to prevent further falls and improve overall health.

The group workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to become further educated on how to build or maintain strength and balance through individualised exercise programs to reduce the likelihood of falls.

Please note, there is a minimum number of participants required for facilitation of this workshop. The workshop may be cancelled if the minimum number is not met.
