Mates4Mates Online Pain Education Workshop
Are you a veteran who wants to better understand how pain can impact your physical health?
Then the Online Pain Education Workshop may be for you.
What is the Online Pain Education Workshop?
Newly developed by Mates4Mates, the Online Pain Education Workshop is designed and delivered by our Exercise Physiologists to help veterans gain a better understanding and greater confidence in managing their chronic pain.
The online workshop will take veterans through a group education session run over two hours, where you will learn about the impacts that pain can have on physical wellbeing and strategies that can be implemented to manage your pain and increase your quality of life.
To participate, you will need:
- To be a registered Mates4Mates member – you can join here!
- PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with video calling capabilities
- Internet connection capable of sustaining an online video call
The next Online Pain Education Workshop will be held:
- Monday, 8 May 2023
- 10:00am to 12:00pm (AEST)
Veterans who are interested in participating in the next Online Pain Education Workshop will need to undertake an expression of interest (EOI) process. This EOI includes a clinical screening to ensure this program is suitable for you.
Submit your expression of interest below.
Expressions of interest close Thursday, 6 April 2023, however, expressions of interest may close sooner if a large volume of applications are received. It is therefore recommended that expressions of interest are submitted as soon as possible.
Places in the program are dependent on meeting the selection criteria. Please note submitting an expression of interest does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process for this program.
Places in the program are available to veterans registered with Mates4Mates.
