Mates4Mates Understanding Addiction Program

  • Are you a veteran or a family member who wants a broader understanding of addiction and the recovery process?
  • Do you want to learn practical strategies relating to addiction and recovery?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Understanding Addiction Program might be for you!

What is the Understanding Addiction Program?

The Understanding Addiction Program is newly designed by our clinicians to help veterans and family members learn practical strategies and receive emotional support relating to addiction and recovery

Through mindfulness and education, the group program will provide an opportunity for participants to achieve a broader understanding of addiction in a safe environment, helping them to build resilience, find hope and embark on a path of recovery.

Please note, there is a minimum number of participants required for facilitation of this program. The program may be cancelled if the minimum number is not met.
