Introduction to Creative Writing

Our Online Family Recovery Centre is hosting two Creative Writing Classes to provide Mates with basic skills in storytelling and to provide an opportunity for social engagement in a small group setting.

Join seasoned professional and author/editor, L. E. Daniels for technical guidance, some freewriting prompts, and collaborative discussion to get your writing flowing. Across two sessions, we'll explore character and plot for both fiction and non-fiction, and how both are staked in conflict and transformation.

This activity is a great opportunity to connect with fellow likeminded writers and to chat about stories you’re interesting in writing.

This program will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, 11 October
  • Tuesday, 18 October

This activity will be held in person and is available to inducted Mates4Mates members. This activity will have a limited capacity, so if you would like to take part, you must RSVP.

If you are not an inducted Mates4Mates member and would like to take part, simply complete your Mates4Mates application online and our team will be in touch soon.
