Exercise Physiology Services in Cairns

Are you a veteran or family member who has been looking to improve their physical and mental health through exercise? Why not book an appointment with a Mates4Mates Exercise Physiologist.

In February, Mates4Mates are running a trial of Exercise Physiology services to Mates and family members located in Cairns.

If you are interested in these services, you are invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to book an appointment with our Exercise Physiologists at the Cairns Centre.

DVA or Medicare referrals will be preferred for appointments to be booked.

Physical rehabilitation can play an important role in improving your physical health and mental wellbeing and our team of Exercise Physiologists are here to support veterans and their family members in Far North Queensland.

Upcoming appointment details

Appointments will be available on Tuesday, 7 February and Wednesday, 8 February 2023 between 10:00am and 4:30pm.

The appointments will be held at the Cairns Centre, located at 280-286 Sheridan Street, Cairns North 4870.

Telehealth services will then be provided for at least 2 x 30 minute follow-up appointments.

Veterans and family members who are interested in booking an appointment with an Exercise Physiologist will need to submit an expression of interest.

Please note that submission of an EOI does not guarantee you an appointment with an Exercise Physiologist. You will be contacted by a Mates4Mates Exercise Physiologist to book an initial appointment and discuss any other requirements.

Expressions of interest have now closed. If you are interested in exercise physiology services in Cairns, please don't hesitate to contact townsville_ep@mates4mates.org.
