Jamie’s Ministry of Food Online Cooking Course

Are you a veteran or family member looking to grow your love of cooking at home while connecting with a like-minded community?

Then Jamie’s Ministry of Food may be for you.

Jamie’s Ministry of Food is an online group activity which provides veterans and their families the unique chance to connect through their love of food and cooking.

With brand new recipes sent weekly, this 5-week activity will help participants develop healthier attitudes towards food in the comfort of their own homes. Join us as we follow along online with a chef, cook some yummy recipes, and connect with a like-minded community.

Jamie's Ministry of Food encourages a sense of belonging and emotional connection within families and the community, while also increasing confidence and independence in the kitchen and improving mental health and wellbeing.

Jamie's Ministry of Food schedule:

While recipes will be sent to participants weekly, cooking along is optional. If you would like to cook, participants will need to purchase their own ingredients.

Veterans or family members who are interested in participating in Jamie’s Ministry of Food will need to complete a short expression of interest (EOI) process. This EOI will remain open until 10 August, and interested participants can submit an EOI to join in at any time during the 5-week activity.

Submit your expression of interest below.

Places in the program are available to veterans and family members who are registered with Mates4Mates only. If you are not an inducted Mates4Mates member and would like to take part, simply complete your Mates4Mates application online and our team will be in touch soon.
