The power of mateship

29 April 2021

This April, we launched a community fundraising campaign, asking members of the public to stand together with Mates4Mates in support of veterans and their families.

Throughout 2020, the number of people who accessed Mates4Mates services grew by 21%. The responsibility of providing much needed support services is something we don’t take lightly – it is critical to the wellbeing of veterans and their families impacted by service.

The support we received from our community fundraisers was absolutely phenomenal, with people from all walks of life embracing the quintessential Australian spirit of mateship in moments that matter. We had hundreds of supporters hosting morning teas, community craft days, BBQ's, raffles, sporting events, lawn bowls and jewellery sales. That’s mateship in every sense of the word.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our fundraisers who stood with us in support of veterans and their families impacted by service. Every dollar counts, which is why we are so grateful for your passion and dedication to the cause.

Please take a moment to admire our amazing fundraisers in action.
