Emma Whitehead, Mates4Mates Chief Executive Officer

Emma Whitehead is the Chief Executive Officer of Mates4Mates. Having joined the organisation in early 2022, Emma brings with her over 30 years’ experience working in health, community services, and research sectors in the UK, USA and Australia.
 
Passionate about improving the economic, health and social wellbeing of our communities, Emma has a wealth of experience in governance, health and human service systems, policy and advocacy, and executive leadership.
 
Under Emma’s leadership, Mates4Mates is dedicated to ensuring best practice, evidence informed care and support, working in collaboration with the ADF, ex-service organisations and mainstream service providers, to improve quality of life among the Defence community.
 
In her spare time, Emma enjoys running, reading, theatre, and spending time with friends and family.
